The AI assistant built into the apps you already use. Draft in Word, analyse in Excel, build a deck, tame your inbox and catch up on Teams meetings — all with enterprise data protection.
Getting started
Once your licence is assigned, Copilot shows up right inside your Microsoft 365 apps.
Use the Request AI Access button. A Copilot licence will be attached to your Proteor Microsoft 365 account.
Go to copilot.microsoft.com or open the Copilot app and sign in with your Proteor account. Look for the “enterprise data protection” badge.
Make sure Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams are up to date so the Copilot button appears in the ribbon.
Click the Copilot icon in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or Teams — or chat on the web for general questions.
Say what you want, who it's for, and in what format. The clearer the prompt, the better the result.
What it does best
Kick off a first draft, summarise a long document, change the tone or shorten it in one click.
Ask for trends, build a formula, create a pivot or a chart — all in plain language.
Turn a Word document into a starter presentation, or generate slides from a short brief.
Summarise a long thread, draft a reply, or get the gist before you respond.
Recap a meeting, list decisions and action items, and find what was said even if you joined late.
A chat space for questions, brainstorms and research — protected by enterprise data protection.
At Proteor
Notes → email — turn rough meeting notes into a clear, professional message.
First drafts — a starting draft of a report, spec or procedure to refine.
Thread summary — sum up a long Outlook conversation before you reply.
Excel data — ask for trends in a table or the right formula without hunting for it.
From your colleagues
Real ways people use Copilot day to day. Got a trick of your own? Share it through “Request AI Tool”.
I always give Copilot a role and an audience: “You're a comms officer, write for our distributors.” The quality jump compared to a bare request is huge.
When I join a Teams call late I ask Copilot for the recap: decisions made and the actions on me. I'm caught up in two minutes without interrupting anyone.
I ask for a draft, not perfection. Copilot gets me 80% of the way, then I own the tone and the details. It's a starting point, never the final word.
I've stopped hunting for formulas: I describe what I want in plain French and Copilot gives me the formula, which I then check on one row. Massive time saved on reporting.
